SUPPORTING THE ACADEMIC
AND LEADERSHIP SUCCESS
OF IOWA’S LATINX YOUTH

Increasing high school graduation rates

Help with college and
career preparedness

Culturally positive experiences and support

For communities to thrive,
every individual within it must have have the opportunity to thrive.

Today, more than 200,000 (7%) Iowans are of Latino heritage. As our population continues to grow, so does that number. If the future success of a community depends on the positive futures of its youth, our responsibility is to ensure EVERY one of our community’s youth believes in their opportunity to succeed.

Unfortunately, many of Iowa’s Latinx teenagers struggle with the belief that college and leadership roles are attainable for them. Whether they worry about affordability or feel unqualified, they deserve to know that support and opportunities exist for anyone who dreams of post-secondary education and/or a fulfilling career.

We believe every Iowa child deserves a support system to help guide them toward success.

Communities have benefited from Al Éxito programs.

We support the personal and educational growth, positive cultural connections, and leadership skills of Iowa’s Latinx youth.

Through our after-school, college preparedness, and leadership programs, Latinx students receive individualized support and learn from hands-on experiences, which enhances their current and future success.
